Spread the Word about STS

Please Attend the
DDS West Region Fall Resource Fair
November 12, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Fairfield Warde High School
755 Melville Avenue, Fairfield, CT

The Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is hosting its West Region Fall Resource Fair on November 12. This is an informational session about the various supports and services DDS provides I/DD individuals and their families.

We hope you will be there to help us spread the word to other parents and guardians of I/DD individuals about STS and its potential as a choice for quality, long-term care, particularly for those who are aging and those with extreme physical or intellectual disabilities.

There are an estimated 2,500 to 3,500 I/DD individuals currently on the DDS waiting list for group home placement. This is a crisis that must be addressed. This is a crisis that STS can help solve.

Encourage the people you meet to contact us. They can call us at 855-200-0490; e-mail us at info@homeandschoolsts.org; or visit our website, www.homeandschoolsts.org.

Also, please ask people for their e-mail address so that we can keep them informed about the issues affecting I/DD individuals in Connecticut.

Are you going? Please let the Home and School Association know. Call us at 855-200-0490 or e-mail info@homeandschoolsts.org.
