The Arc of Connecticut Meriden/Wallingford Chapter is hosting a parent leadership training session on November 16 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Guests include David McCluskey, former state representative from West Hartford; Kevin Graff, a lobbyist for Arc Connecticut; and Arc Executive Director Leslie Simoes.
Though Arc Connecticut has long sought to close the Southbury Training School, we believe that attending this event provides an opportunity to meet people on the DDS waiting list and to raise awareness about the quality long-term care solutions STS provides I/DD individuals.
