Marty Dwyer and Tracy Atwood attended VOR's Annual Meeting & Legislative Initiative on June 9 - 13, 2018
Home and School Association President Marty Dwyer and member Tracy Atwood attended VOR's 2018 Annual Meeting and Legislative Initiative in Washington D.C. on June 9 – 13. As Executive Director of VOR, Home and School’s Hugo Dwyer was also prominently in attendance.
VOR’s Initiative provided a chance for Marty and Tracy to interact with advocates from across the United States. When visiting the Hill many advocates began with a "Meet VOR" pamphlet to introduce Legislative Aides to VOR, then proceeded with the "Ask", the request to cosponsor Rep. Bob Goodlatte's (R-VA) bill that would offer notification and the opportunity to opt-out of class action lawsuits.
If you have interest in attending the 2019 VOR Initiative please contact the Home and School Association for sponsorship opportunities.
