DDS South Region Winter Family Fairs

February 6, 3 pm – 7 pm (snow date February 13)
North Branford Intermediate School
654 Foxon Road, North Branford, CT

The Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS), in collaboration with the CT Family Support Network, is hosting a winter family fair for the South Region on February 6  (snow date February 13) in North Branford. The south region includes 55 towns within the counties of New Haven, Middlesex and
New London.

The focus of the fair is on helping families learn more about the various support services available to help them transition their I/DD children from school to work settings and into living environments that will help maximize their independence as I/DD adults.

We hope you will be at this fair. This event provides important opportunities for us to raise awareness about the state-of-the-art services STS currently provides, as well as its potential as a residential choice for some of the 2,500 to 3,500 I/DD individuals on the DDS waiting list for group home placement.

To attend the fair, please contact Lisa Rogers at 1-866-584-3376,
extension 5468 or e-mail her at Lisa.A.Rogers@ct.gov
